Reefpoint Marina Celebrates Another Successful Boating Season
Reefpoint Marina, Racine, Wisconsin, celebrates as another successful boating season comes to an end.
Reefpoint Marina is owned by Racine County and is managed by SG Marina, Siegel-Gallagher Management Company’s marina management division. Reefpoint Marina is distinguished as the only 1st Choice 5-Star Marina, by Active Captain, on the Great Lakes. Boaters enjoy exceptional amenities, professional services, and a staff dedicated to providing a positive and memorable experience.
This year, Reefpoint Marina invested over $250,000 back into the key amenities that set itself above the competition. Upgrades included an entire pool and hot tub renovation with new tile work, new couping to replace the old, worn bricks, and new interior plaster liners. The work was completed in the spring, just in time for boaters’ enjoyment. Beyond the pool improvements, an entire landscaping project was completed around the pool area, including new decks, new gazebos, new, high-quality patio sets, new grills and the ever popular fire pits. Boaters gather round these gas fire pits nightly to share stories and enjoy each other’s company.
Reefpoint Marina also organized and provided a full event calendar, including the First Annual SG Marina Rendezvous from Reefpoint Marina, Racine, Wisconsin to Harbor Centre Marina, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, also managed by SG Marina. Carrie VanDera, General Manager at Reefpoint Marina, and Matt Bauer, General Manager at Harbor Centre Marina, worked together to create the perfect weekend, filled with food, fun and entertainment in Sheboygan. More than 15 boats attended this fun and successful event. The 2nd Annual Reefpoint Marina Wine-a-thon in July was also a major success, despite the hot and humid weather. This event has proven very instrumental in encouraging boaters to walk the entire dock system and meet other boaters.
As the boating season comes to an end, Reefpoint Marina staff and boaters look forward to another successful season next year.
